Transportation infrastructure (rails) is defined as railroad corridors used for freight or passenger rail transport. For this element, rail infrastructure includes only rail lines identified in authoritative transportation or mapping datasets as existing railroads at the time of data compilation. Abandoned, removed, or proposed rail lines are not included.

Rail geometries reflect centerline representations as provided in the source datasets at the time of publication.
