Surface play elements are organized into two subgroups:
- Land use – Play elements that involve classifying land use that could impact the cost of developing CO2 storage or infrastructure
- Transport – Play elements that involve existing or proposed surface infrastructure that could be used to transport CO2
The Surface CRS Map indicates a suitable to most suitable fairway across the entire state. Areas that are not classified as most suitable include wetlands, karst terrains, and mined areas.
